Q: Where is Candycopia located?

A: 717 Lake Street in the Hemingway District of Oak Park, Illinois — just west of downtown Chicago. The store is in the historic Medical Arts building. Walk-in customers are welcome during store hours: Monday through Friday 11am–7pm, Saturday 10am–7pm, and Sunday 11am–5pm. We also have a location at 116 N York St Elmhurst, IL. The online store ships nationwide.

Q: Is Candycopia family-owned?

A: Candycopia was founded by Patrick and Alycia Mason, Oak Park residents who opened the store in June 2022. The idea started during a family vacation to Cape Cod, where their daughters lit up exploring old-fashioned candy shops. The Masons wanted to bring that same sense of discovery and joy to their own community.
