For nearly a decade, The Happy Apple Pie Shop has been an Oak Park tradition, serving homemade pies, baked goods, and a welcoming sense of community. But Happy Apple has always been about more than exceptional baking—it was founded on the belief that meaningful employment changes lives.

Now part of Easterseals Chicago & Rockford Regions, The Happy Apple Pie Shop continues that mission by creating inclusive employment and job training opportunities for individuals with disabilities while preserving the recipes, traditions, and warm atmosphere customers have come to love.

 As an Easterseals social enterprise, the Happy Apple builds on our commitment to workforce development by providing hands-on experience in baking, customer service, retail operations, hospitality, and business management within an integrated workplace where people of all abilities work side by side.
