I have been searching for a French Burnt Peanut Candy like I used to get at the bulk candy counter. Finally found one that very very close to that candy. After one taste, I knew that this was as close as I was going to get. The original company stopped making them at least 10+ years ago. So, thank you for keeping this treat available.
I have had several dirty soda varieties and they are all great. I look forward to trying more!

If you're looking for something similar to silky gems, this is NOT it. The only thing that makes these crunchy are the large bits of hard sugar that cover the entire surface. I personally spit them out, however my 8 year old daughter ate the whole bag, and that speaks volumes.
